5:57pm - tune in to cam to find eggs uncovered. There was no parent in the camera range for approximately 2 minutes. It is a warm day here - probably in the upper 70's. We anticipate a heat wave in the next few days, with the coast being close to 90.

Eggs still appear to be intact.

6:22pm - Something got Cher's attention and she was up, looking around a little and took off. It didn't appear as if she vocalized. She seemed quiet. I think she's tracking something beyond the ledge.

Earlier in the 4pm hour, I saw Cher on and thought if Dan comes in now, at least Cher will get a good break. But she was back on by 6pm. Normally, she'd be gone until close to sunset.

Well, it's 6:24pm and Cher just came back to eggs..

Close up of eggs at 6:30ish nest exchange. Don't see any cracks or holes. Dan coming on.

Congratulations on your first video...and you even figured out how to embed it!!! I'm impressed!! I saw the zoom...rushed to take my recorder off Grand Haven to switch to San Fran, got there too late...and totally missed it all!!!

When I first looked at cam this morning (5:50am), Cher was on duty and she seemed a little restless in that she would start to doze, then quickly lift her head and look around. Maybe, just maybe, she's hearing a chick.

5:15pm - Dan is currently on duty and looks to be laying flat. It is very warm here today.. SF got in the upper 70's.

I don't remember seeing any nest changes today, so don't know the condition of eggs, but assume they are still intact.
