Still three in Regensburg I see, egg #4 probably won't hatch .

Elberfeld-Wuppertal should have a hatch in the next few days.

Karlsruhe (I have no clue if I spelled this correctly)

No hatch...and I have no clue if that right egg is in the process of hatching..or if there are actually 4 eggs or even if they are eggs at all...LOL

Has the female been replaced? I really haven't been paying much attention to this nest other than noticing the eggs are uncovered a lot..guess I'd better pay attention..

I've been watching that nest, ljames...I think the resident female was replaced..for a while I only saw dad incubating...and then nothing...

I have só neglected these German nests . . . And have therefor no idea about what is going in Karlsruhe or Zielitz. But it's obvious that both nests have failed this year. :girlsad3:

I feel your pain!!! I think the resident female at Zielitz has been replaced...I don't know what's going on with Karlsruhe...I keep checking it and nothing...and I don't have the patience to leave it up. They used to have that second cam that looked right at the nest..maybe they don't have it any more, but that's the one we need..
