There was just a feed, but only 2 ate. Afterwards (from what I could see) they headed back to the corner to snuggle. Little one probably isn't used to the chill, but he has his siblings to help keep him warm. His mom might also come in for the night.

This is the beginning of feed. You can see one up, and one laying down in corner. The one laying down, I think stayed down.

After the feed, you can see the 2 who were fed and 1 still laying down - sorry the picture is so dark:

I also saw that feeding. It didn't appear that any of them were all that hungry. It's amazing how they can hide up there in that box.

Wish when they go up for banding, they'd stuff something in the corners so the kids can't hide there. But I guess that's being selfish cause they can probably keep warmer in the corners.

Breakfast was just served. Unfortunately, the kids are still hanging out in the corner.

Yet another feeding. I was sure that the chicks in the corner would come out for this, but no. They stayed in the corner while the one chick got all the food.

Missed seeing CJ and also the feeding. But all four are in that lower corner this morning as of 7:55.

Thanks for the great captures, Catbird! I think the one in the middle on your 7:11 capture is the baby. Too bad this baby wasn't marked in some way or banded, but he is too young to be banded so that wouldn't work. I guess the only way to tell is to see all four at the same area of the box in order to recognize him. :flirty:

Jane, glad to hear you saw all 4 this morning cause last night all I could see was 3 with them staying in that corner! :eggthumbup:

At first I thought this was all 4, but now I think it may be 3. The one at the side of the capture seems to be smaller than the other 2 though. :clap:

I finally saw all 4 chicks at once! And I love the one flapping those cute little wings.

OH! HAPPY DAY!! I am way behind here! Love your comments Greg, and Ethel the pictures are great. What a fantastic outcome!!! Thank goodness for the kind hearts that care so much!!!

I thought I saw CJ or RG before noon yesterday on the corner of the Capital One Bldg. when I was in town for Dave. A TV was in the area as well and not very high up either.

I am SOO happy about the news here!! :eggthumbup:

I didn't have time to post this until right now. Around 8:30 this morning, it looked like CJ doing a feeding. One LARGE chick was sprawled out and didn't move a muscle. But the other three were all in the corner, and all were being fed. :-)

And just had a look at all four as of noon. Adult was there checking in also, but couldn't tell which one. Didn't notice the egg was gone until reading Faith's message.

Drats! It was a short second feeding, and by the time I took a picture, RG was on her way out.

I'm beginning to think that there might be 2 big girl chicks and 2 small male chicks. It is nice to see them out and about in the nest box today!

So glad about the happy postings of how easy they accept the "little one" into their fold. So cute to see them. Maybe they will come out of the corner more since the forth one is there.
