I had the cam up all day. Regular nest exchanges. At one point, Cher had one egg out from underneath her and a rear leg feather was against it, making it look like maybe a hatch, but nope...

5/5 is 35 days since egg #2 was laid on 4/1 and 32 days since egg #3 was laid on 4/4. I'm hoping we will see something start tomorrow. Looks like many other sites go 35-36 days incubation from 2nd to last egg.
So, gosh, we could be going into the middle of next week!

There has been some lite discussion on the Yahoo forum regarding hatch dates and possibility of infertile eggs. No copulation was witnessed between these two.... So, it's anyone's guess what is going to happen here..

6:58am - nest exchange. Dan now on duty.

Prior to exchange, Cher did not appear to be in "tight" incubation posture, more of a brooding posture. She seemed alert and would occasionally chup.

At exchange, eggs appeared to be intact.

well I am positive here. We do not always see copulation. Completely missed it at Bell

I think with all turmoil here, they may have been away from scene .
Will try and keep cam up.
going away Tuesday as we are fried

Another nest exchange... 11:36am... Dan on duty.. and he's talking about something.

Dan coming on duty:

Dan talking up a storm

AND before I can get this posted, Cher comes back at 11:49am... She looks solid on the eggs. I don't see her moving or talking too much. Maybe Dan's chupping was in response to her being close

I think something may be up

"Up" as in movement in eggs? Hopefully. That was a really quick exchange and the prior exchange was only an hour earlier....

No worries Bev... not at all misleading. I just thought the quick exchanges were a little weird. Each time I have seen the eggs uncovered, they appear intact, but we are only seeing one side. I hope they are feeling/hearing something....
