I believe a Catbird is the meal right now! Boy they are hungry and making a lot of noise.

They are starting to scream at the parents when they see them sitting near by.

Spent about 45 minutes downtown this afternoon. Got there a little after 3, and saw no falcons at first. Then Lil Dad appeared on the point, and Niecey on the glass enclosure above the ledge. Niecey took off down 4th Street toward the Capitol, and Lil Dad went over on the far side of the U Building toward the Whitaker Center. Don't know if there's a stash over there or not, but he returned with something shortly afterwards, your suspected Catbird, Faith. I could see him disappear into the scrape, but couldn't tell what was going on from below. Niecey returned from wherever she had been and sat on the ledge in front of the scrape for a while, and then she went into the scrape also. Lil Dad came out to sit on the stick. Went up on the Chestnut Street Garage roof for a bit. Was relieved to not be able to see any chicks from up there. By the time I got off the elevator from the roof, Lil Dad was gone. I didn't see Niecey again. Would have stayed a bit longer, but had to stop for groceries on the way home. I see Lil Dad is on the point right now.

Thanks Jane for the good eyes on report. Nice that the Little One got fed. I just love these birds. Everyone at Church was asking me about them!! LOL They know where my heart is!!

Extremely short feeding just took place. Chicks are all screaming their heads off now.

Both adults are there now feeding. What a racket! And it's now over. Niecey was in the scrape feeding three chicks, and Lil Dad feeding one out on the ledge. Was hoping somebody might post a picture of that.

Ljames, that picture you just posted of the chicks is priceless. Am hoping this wind quits, but it has blown some feathers out of the scrape. Found Jay tail feathers over on the grass in front of the train station this afternoon. It is to get quite chilly tonight - in the 30s!

Oh! I have to agree Jane, ljames picture is just priceless!! Just look at their expressions!! LOL!! Bless their hearts!

Looking at that picture closer, they all aren't facing forward. The one in front has it's back to us, but the head is facing out! No words to describe!
