10:46- B returns to nest. She's at corner near main cam. Chups a little. Back to box, greeting her eggs.

Totally agree Carly.

In my gut, I think his staying away is more of a protective measure... It reminds me when an animal is ill and removes itself from the pack, to protect and not draw attention.
