Good grief, you'd have thought there were 20 chicks in there and her clucking the whole time trying to get them to eat more. I think the one in front is her favorite as he got most of the bites it looked like to me. :teehee:

Of course he did look smaller.

Saw another feed. I hate it when the mother feeds one chick until it gets full while the other one wears itself out trying to get a bite, but it's their way. Anyway, they both got all they could hold in the end.

Oh gosh, I almost forgot. At one point, I thought that smaller chick was choking to death. It wouldn't take any bites and was shaking it's head like it was trying to get something up.

This one is like, you've got something on your beak there, I'll get it for you.

The streaming doesn't really translate very well to my pictures. They look much nicer on the cam. They were zooming on the parent's band but I never could see it well enough to say what it was

Nothing but skeleton left.

One juvie was out on the platform flapping away while the other watched when suddenly the one saw the parents coming and started screaming. Didn't get the shot of Mom, Dad, juvie (maybe even both) and the prey that might have been alive out on the platform, happened too fast. I thought for sure somebody was going off. Feeding commenced and there was much screaming, grabbing food, running all about the box, and general chaos.

They have had a nice long feed as prey was pretty big.

Our fast juvenile as a climbing wall acrobat.

It was on the last (rainy) day of our short visit to Axel, and he was trying to get on the roof.

It was difficult filming during the rainstorm.

The juvenile is stranded in the window frame, and is trying to get inside.
Alex and Alexia try to lure him away.
They continually show him how to fly, but without success.

He has nearly three and a half hours sitting brushing and fluttering in the window frame.
