Food just arrived. Thanks so much for the video's Renee and GREAT pictures Pess. Anca thanks this morning for your coverage. Too bad they can't take a floor squeegee and push that stuff off tomorrow when they are inside. but then again., "look out below"!! LOL! Also they try to keep one on the Ledge at all times don't they?

Edit: Wasn't a very big bird!

I've noticed that spot on the ledge before. Don't think it's anything decomposed. It looks like it's almost under the cams above it. And it looks darker when it's wet.

OMG!! Just getting ready to leave here and looked in one last time. They must be watching a parent fly by. All their dear little heads moving together like in Kim's video in Wilmington last year. It was So precious. Now I have to go!!!

I hope the kids will be easy to grab tomorrow and the intrepid biologists wont have to chase them up and down the ledge. If i get out of my hand surgeon's office early enough, I intend to be out there with cameras in tow.

Little one got almost nothing at the 10:10 feeding this morning--hard to watch. I suppose he gets more other times...

I thought the little one was the last one standing, getting plenty. I'm not sure when I started watching but it's 10:33 now, so maybe it was 10:10. I might be confused about the little one.

Heard some alarm calls and yellow feet went running behind the scrape to the back door. She's a smart one. :wink:

YELLOW FEET WAS THE ONE MAKING THE ALARM CALLS, LOL! ALWAYS HAS, LOL! GETS NIECEY TO LOOKING ALL AROUND UNTIL SHE REALIZES SHE DOESN'T SEE ANYTHING. SO CUTE WATCHING ONE LAYING DOWN TURN IT'S HEAD TO WATCH ANOTHER ONE FLAPPERSIZING :-)

Is the ledge messier this year, or is it the new cameras just giving us a much better view? Niecey was very good at housekeeping before these four hatched. So I'm thinking it might be the better view we have now.

Had to attend a meeting downtown about tomorrow's banding. Afterwards, Sue and I were on the roof of the Chestnut Street garage for a while. We got a look at a couple of the chicks from there. Could see wing action over at the orange post and a few other places. Don't know what time it was when Lil Dad came in with some prey. I took pictures, but don't know how to post them on this forum. Maybe I'll explore that this afternoon. Need some lunch right now. Agreed that the ledge is a royal mess.

It was nice to see that individual feeding. The little one scarfed down some pretty big bites a few times! They are so amazing to watch.
