Looks like a convention over there by the column. Yellow legs (White) is not interested.

FIRST TIME TO TAKE FLIGHT PICS OF THE FALCONS WITH MY NEW CAMERA. HOPE TO GET ALOT MORE IN THE MONTHS TO COME AND HOPEFULLY BETTER ONES :-)

ALL FOUR ACCOUNTED FOR THIS MORNING. NIECEY ACTING SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT WITH THE SPOTS SHE'S SITTING, BUT SHE'S OK. RIGHT NOW ON THE POINT. KIDS ALL PREENING OVER BETWEEN THE SCRAPE AND COLUMN. WAS WORRIED AT FIRST, COULDN'T SEE ONE. FINALLY I SAW A TAIL BEHIND THE SCRAPE :-)

Thank you also for posting the article about banding. There was a discussion in the Ft. Wayne topic about the direction banding is going. In Ohio, only 10 nests are being banded this year. Peregrines are on the threatened list there & that will be reviewed in 2015. It sounds like they've had more success with Peregrines than PA has.

ONE OF TWO CHICKS BEHIND THE SCRAPE WORKING ON PREY. NIECEY SHOWED UP ON THE LEDGE, GOT THEM ALL SCREAMING. GUESS SHE WANTED TO MAKE SURE THEY EAT THE PREY. NOW SHE'S ON THE STICK. ONE OVER BY THE POLE BY ITSELF FOR A LONG TIME. WHITE WAS SITTING DOWN BY THE COLUMN FOR A WHILE TOO, BUT NOW SHE JOINED THE TWO BEHIND THE SCRAPE. OK, WHITE SCREAMED IN NIECEY'S FACE AND SHE LEFT.

OH NO. Spidey hid from the cleaning. Darn!! Too bad the Falcon's don't eat spiders the way the sparrows do!! LOL! Your new Camera is looking mighty good Reenie. Can't wait to see what I get with mine. Of course the subject is fabulous. They are really active this morning.
