They started hatching on the 16th, not the 20th. That makes yesterday day 35!!!!! I don't think there's anyway I can take off work the rest of this week! AAAAAAARRRRRRRRGHHHHH!!!!!

I see at least two kids on the ledge. Too foggy to see clearly.

I stand corrected . I had it right a couple of posts earlier. Here's the bottom line: They started April 20 last year, 40 days after hatching. In 2011 the first ones left after 37 days but that was early for this nest; very warm spring. So my guess is tomorrow at the earliest but probably the weekend.

Not sure what you mean by they started April 20th last year?

Someone who lives/works in the Nemours Building said the adults kept doing passes in front of the box yesterday like they were encouraging them to fly. <sigh>

Just watched a feeding. I will be there Sat. morning. I haven't seen too much of their plumage, except for OG. Aren't they mostly dark by Fledging? When I logged on, OG and Blue were being fed.

Yes, they're mostly dark like the two boys.

Well, I missed all four kids being fed but I did catch three (and then two) of them being fed. Orange was very polite this morning and patiently waited her turn.

I missed seeing the feeding this morning, did see Orange in the box creating a feather blizzard. One of the males is visible at the moment, still showing a lot of white fluff. And now I see your pictures, Ethel.

I see one in box and two on ledge. I can't see the whole ledge though.

Thanks for the report, Kim. Orange is sacked out in the box right now. I'm assuming the heat and humidity are similar to Harrisburg right now.

I'm mowing grass! The chicks in Harrisburg have been doing a lot of bumming around this morning. Orange is still sacked out.

Was on Rt. 495 this morning and the City was really socked in fog. I see why you couldn't see the box this morning Kim.

Am seeing Blue in the box right now. At least I think it's Blue. Creating a feather blizzard.

Two males were bobbing up and down earlier trying to get up their nerve to fly. A little while ago they did the "run from inside the box jump up on the ledge I'm really going to go" move! At least one of the males, if not both, will probably fledge tomorrow if they haven't already.

Well, Orange is sacked out in the box right now. Really hope those two boys didn't fledge yet.
