Lil' Dad just landed on the point, I know that he had food but couldn't tell if he actually dropped it off or just let the babies see. Niecey is still up there sunning as though the juvies are not screaming their heads off. One juvie even jumped up on the shield. Good grief, trying to get them to fly is tricky.

One has been fly-hopping back and forth on the ledge and then disappeared around the column. Another had been at the point end for awhile, but sitting back, bobbing its head.

All four still there at the moment. All near the shade of the pole.

Five birds on the ledge. Three pancaked in the shade of the pole, one behind the scrape, one in the scrape. Must be Niecey again.

At home for lunch and a quick nap before heading back downtown. No fledges as of when I left at 11:30. Hopefully they will stay put in the heat of the afternoon. It was 87 degrees downtown when I left. Blue and Yellow Boy went around the column several times this morning, and both looked like they'd take off more than once, but didn't. White has been out on the stick, the WHOLE WAY out. Oh, there was a food drop shortly after we arrived at 6:00 this morning. And so happy about Orange Girl fledging in Wilmington. She was their little one, hatched at least three days after her sibs. She was removed from the nest down there for about ten days and cared for by a kind caring man that I won't name. When she was returned to the nest box, she was immediately accepted by the adults as if she had never been gone.

All four seem to be pancaked in the shade near the pole. Time for their noon siesta!

Don't know which one, but somebody just made a very respectable short flight from the stick to the other three at the post. Airborne, but still over the ledge. Fledging canNOT be far behind!

Well, they're all in the shade up there with their wings drooped right now. NOT a good afternoon for any takeoffs. Will be heading back downtown shortly.

It was like somebody opened the gates at the horse races as parent landed on the point and everybody shot out from the orange post.

They ran the parent off, which I guess was Niecey, all four eating here , but Yellow was forced out, he is on the point. At least I think it is him. He's gonna have to fledge to ever get anything to eat again.

I just can't really see the bands that well. Looks like Yellow at the end now. Then parent landed and one ran over to it, but not sure which

And now I only see three. Oh I see a bit of a juvie sticking out from behind the orange post. Whew, I thought the one tht chased the adult might have gone right over. I hope Yellow Boy is getting something to eat after the others have had enough.

Ok, chores to do. hoping they won't fledge until closer to sunset, but I'll be back before then.

Well they are active at least. How are you all doing? Thinking of you all day. So great that OG has fledged in Wilm.

They are eating nicely as Spidey sits on the Cam.

One "talking" to Niecey on the stick! If you call soft screaming Talking!! Lil Dad brought food. Niecey grabbed it and flew. I think she dropped it on the ledge at the end . The view was wrong!! One sitting on the stick close to the ledge. Oh boy! Spreading the wings. Moved out on the stick.

(Love that Train)

Maybe that was parent on the stick? Flying by now showing them what it's like to fly!
