Bird Cams Around the World

Just pulled up the cam.. 1:12 and she's still feeding.

One guy has some prey. She just tried to take it away, but he wouldn't give it up. 2 are walking around, full crop. She's got a bit of something, feeding #4.

She's trying to get the chunk from kid#3. She got it and is feeding again. 1:15pm..


Nows she's out 1:16pm. She turned around, looked up and flew off. Kids all in box. Look like they have decent crops.

2:57pm - Mom must be close. Kids are calling and I just saw shadow. Think one is about to take the big step out!

3:10p and i saw same as mwplay sees...

I have a couple hours of mowing I HAVE to get done!! Be back when I can...

I s there anyway, powers to be would lace place with quail. Gord did that here, to help out when male was injured 2 years ago.

5:09pm - 2 kids out of box. I think Mom's feeding just out of cam range

one now two out of box an appear to be eating. the other 2 are making noise

All 4 back in. Mom feeding in box again.

5:38pm - She's still feeding... Whatever she brought must have been big. It's been like 30 minutes of feeding now, unless she defeathered on deck and kids were watching. What a great job!

5:44pm - Feed over. Mom finishing up last few bites!

Wrong... there's a little more and she's feeding one again.

1 boy just jumped out of box onto porch.

5:48pm - Now it's done and Mystic left the box. One kid on porch, out of cam range. 3 in box.

Soo...Mystic figured out she has to hunt...Good..!! Now she is just like Maverick was in 2009 when Priscilla fell ill and passed away...He raised the three to fledge...
Two of the three are familiar names to some people...
Diamond nesting @ Niagra Falls and McKinley nesting @ Akron....

So, I am confident she can handle this at the stage they are at....If Mo ends up in for any long length of time, I am more concerned about a new male coming in before the boys are weaned....This site has never had a "empty slot" even though it is considered "off the path"....
Mystic filled it in after Priscilla was gone, but after the juvies left....

Lets just Hope Mo is releaseable soon!!!

Thanks everyone for the great coverage and love the new camera Matrix. She's a good Mom and she'll get the job done. Hope Mo can be released soon. Leaves an opening without him around. It's a wait and see game now.
