Strange!!! I don't know this pair well enough to even know if this is one of the residents. They have always nested in that far corner..This one spent a few minutes, scraping out of cam view..has somebody been replaced or did they just figure out we could finally see them and they are moving...

I tried to read the band with no luck.

Its been a long time..I have to wonder if one of these guys is new..got to the cam toward the end. This male's sway and bow is so extreme I thought I was gonna get whiplash...not to mention he high stepped it on his way out of the box...it was so funny!!

Oh my!!! We have a new falcon here...which explains why we don't have eggs and why they aren't using the scrape they always use.

Residents are fran-b/g 5/*X and Greg-b/g 92/N

This bird is b/r....

Talk about deja vu!!!

I've got more pics to go through to see if I can get the top number...just don't have time right now..

Me too, DEF...and of course, its not in the data base. I'm 99.9% sure that this is female. Kinda sad since Fran has been there since 2001...

Male is b/g...but, I couldn't read the bands...

I'll try to post those pics later..

In the row of "Hall of Fame" pictures under the main picture, a Mary from the Chicago Peregrine Program confirms a new female on sight, saying Fran died April 4.

OH NO!!! That is so sad....I knew this was a new female...I had hopes that Fran had just moved on.

I just saw the new female and Greg chupping together a bit - til Greg bailed out. Does that mean he is accepting the new female?

According to the comments on one of the archived pics, the new female has been ID'd...No band numbers were given...Only that it was a 2 yr old, named Patsy, from Wisconsin..

So, after a little searching, it appears that this could be Patsy, 2012 hatch from the Alma nest!!! We were soooooooooo close with the band number. Patsy's number is: b/r 63/VC.....we didn't see the "C"!!!
