I've been hearing "yelling"...and its while flying...I hope the intruder hasn't returned. Nobody on the eggs since Anca posted the pic.

Belle on eggs as of 11:29 am..I'll put the recorder on the cam...but, gotta do yard work...

Just read the update on the FB page & pictures of Belle's injuries have been forwarded to an agency who could help if need be. They really don't expect to hear anything until at least Monday though. There are comments about the male not acting like himself, & I'm thinking that the stress from yesterday and seeing Belle all bloodied up has to be very upsetting to him.

I knew they would get them all back , I think with that rough scrape it made it harder

I will put cam up also. not to do yard work . we have light flurries and -12C :girlcrazy:

I was just looking at that SGb myself. I am not sure what I am seeing but will send it to Gord and see what he says. Gord may not get it till MOnday but I will send right away
Hope it will heal because everything else looks great considering.

things are looking good here though. Regular incubation. 4 eggs

That was me asking about the male yesterday. Having never watched this pair because of the cam situation, I wasn't sure of the normal behavior of the male. If you read further, you would have seen the discussion about his behavior being atypical and that it probably was stress related. he was more relaxed later in the afternoon and all evening..I don't think any of us had any particular expectations of the male. Ya gotta remember, most of us (and people on FB) haven't seen this cam before. There were also quite a few comments from people that still could not get the cam so it was difficult for them to understand what was going on.

He has done a fantastic job under the circumstances..

sorry SGB. I looked all over for the comments. I guess, I just saw normal behavior for after a fight. But then I did not get cam right away. So things were probably better after I got it. I knew she was was tired and had to rest.
I think , he was just anxious to gt all those eggs back.

I think I will just observe , and hope for the best here,but I did send picutres to Gord, and if I hear back , I will post it.
