yes, I really looked at that a few times, but I think you are right, a blur as cam refreshes, you see some strange things here when that happens. yesterday I thought there were 2 falcons in and just one LOL

Just read the update on the FB page & pictures of Belle's injuries have been forwarded to an agency who could help if need be. They really don't expect to hear anything until at least Monday though. There are comments about the male not acting like himself, & I'm thinking that the stress from yesterday and seeing Belle all bloodied up has to be very upsetting to him.

Well, I have watched the male and he is doing mighty fine job of incubating and in these situations, they will be on guard

I have cam up and will look at Belle, but his male did a fantastic job of getting all eggs badk so I really od nto know what they expect of him???

I think what they were referring to is that the eggs were uncovered for about 45 minutes, but he was there. I think he's doing a great job too! :flirty: They weren't complaining that he wasn't doing a good job, just that he didn't seem to be acting like himself & they're concerned about him.

Belle is still on eggs at 4:25pm
She needs several days o f recuperating. this is the best thing for her.

SHe does a lot of beak and neck stretches. I would have a sore jaw too, if I was in that situation LOL

will be going out soon to observe a few sites in my area but cam will be recording. Hopefully it does not shut off

If you saw some of my pictures yesterday you can see that sometimes she has it wide open, so good thoughts here.

I sent her picture to my biologist, peregrine expert, Gord

here is his reply

That is quite a shiner on the Toledo bird. I've seen some like this heal completely - even when the eye ball was totally deflated. She is lucky to be at the stage where she is being fed by somebody else for awhile.

thanks Anca for watching. I ma in and out all day an just ran the video on computer and will put it back up

Poor thing, but glad Gord's reply was encouraging--thanks, Bev! It is a good point about her being in a position of not having to hunt right now.
