FOR APPROXIMATELY THE LAST 15 MINUTES 2 EGGS ARE EXPOSED IN THE NEST. I DO NOT SEE LADDIE OR LADY, BUT HOPE ONE OF THEM IS JUST OUT OF VIEW OF CAM OR THAT THEY RETURN TO NEST SOON. THEY CAN NOT AFFORD THE LOSS OF ANY MORE EGGS TO PREDATORS.

RETURNED TO THE NEST WITH STICK AND PLACED. OFF NEST X 54 MINUTES THAT I WITNESSED. UNSURE OF HOW LONG OFF PRIOR TO ME COMING IN. BUT, EVERYTHING SEEMS OK.

He’s in the UK!!!! Blue YD made it home to the UK on Saturday night and the latest data we have places him in Norfolk as of 8pm last night.

He crossed the channel on Saturday evening – a crossing of about 90 miles- and roosted on the Norfolk coast on Saturday night, about 4 miles inland from Southwold.

On Sunday he hugged the coast, never more than about 10miles from it, and made his way north- it seems clear he is following the shore as a landmark. He did a spot of fishing on the estuary at Wells-next-to-sea and then turned inland. On Sunday night he had found himself by Narford lake, near Narborough, an ideal roosting spot with woods nearby.

So will he stay in England or will he head home to Scotland straight away? Only time will tell!

He’s on the move!! Blue YD has started heading north once more and the current data indicates he could be en route to Scotland…
He spent Sunday night roosting in the woods east of Narford Lake. On Monday morning between 7am and 11am he started flying north, once again sticking close to the coast. At midday he crossed the Humber, and then carried on northwards at quite a pace.

By 5pm he managed to get as far as Scarborough and our latest piece of data shows him travelling up the East coast of Yorkshire, through the North York Moors National Park.

At his current pace and direction it looks as though he could soon be crossing the Scottish border, just in time for homecoming!

Hi SWINWK! First, want to say how much I appreciate you updates here and on the Warsaw forum.

I'm watching and she just switched positions. She seems a little alert. Looked like she was listening to the eggs when she moved. She seems calm now that she's moved and using the moss pillow - so cute. In the dark, it's hard to tell if those were cracks in one of the eggs, or just coloring.

Let me look back at some older posts. There's a forum that Kittenface follows that was dedicated to this site. Maybe they've got some info.

So, from what I'm reading, it appears the two eggs in the nest are egg#1 and egg#3. They say egg#1 is far overdue, so only hope is egg#3. They have seen increased attention to eggs by Lady today. I think the cracking I'm seeing is just coloring.

THANKS FOR THE LINK MW! I REALLY APPRECIATE IT. I HAD NO IDEA IT EXISTED. WENT FOR A SPIN THRU SITE AND APPARENTLY THEY ARE SEEING SOME THINGS TOO! THEY EVEN REPORT COUPLE COMMENTS ON FB OF A PIP, BUT THEY DON'T MENTION SEEING A PIP. WENT TO FB, BUT I CAN'T FIND CURRENT COMMENTS. HOPE SOME OF THEM ARE EARLY RISERS AND GET UP BEFORE I GO TO BED THIS EVE AND COMMENT AND HAVE MORE PICS. AGAIN, THANK YOU! :eggthumbup:
