I was not there, they actually don't ever bring anyone up with them. However, I did let Rex know about it and they did let him come up and do a nice story on it. It's the first time since I've been involved with these falcons that Rex has been up there, although he said he used to do it. Great story and video!!

That is a great article, pictures and video. Loved it. Why exactly are they in a cage? I think I must of missed something about that.

Sally, they are in a cage because there have been problems in the past with accidental fledges on this ledge. Once they have the feathers needed to fly safely, they will be let out of the cage & its up to them when they want to fledge.

A few pics I never posted just prior to banding then a couple from the weekend. Sorry, my load of baby birds in rehab continues. Sgb, I did just release a bluebird and got 4 more. I'll have to send a video, so cute!
