I do have another vid with strange vocals...I don't think they are coming from the kids. Its very high pitched. I know Mom has an unusually high pitched voice, unlike other females we hear...but, so does dad. I remember commenting on it early in the season..

When the kids go to bed, I'll have to listen to it again. It sounds very near the box mic...so, either somebody was on top of the box or beside the box...sure hope I saved it...hee hee..

Ya know...I really hope Dad is ok...I liked last year's Dad...but I REALLY liked this little guy...he was so cute and funny...

Just for the record, all 3 are still there...Based on the lack of activity and the fact that 2 are zonked, I don't think there will be a fledge today...BUT, in the event somebody goes a little bonkers, I'll keep the recorder on the cam...

I just have to separate things LOl

and sometimes it works and sometimes not

I do not know male from female but if I see adult will take a snip
on e kid ( brownish) is looking out of box while sitting

these kids not banded . but bigger one is calling .

adult , not banded , flew in with a drop of food in far corner. One eating. Dult left. I think bigger kid got some also
brownest one is looking out

just saw that both are not banded. bummer

well just a small bite as kids are finished and one got none

Are you talking about Salt Lake, Bev....No body is banded here...and I haven't seen more food come in...of course, I could have missed it as my recorder stopped recording...Mom keeps coming in and trying to get the prey she brought in earlier and the kids won't let her...LOL

I used up all of my hard drive space with my 5000 recordings...LOL...just had to go through, review, then delete...good grief..what a chore...hee hee..

I was watching baby girl flapping her wings too. I thought for sure she was going to knock the little male right out of the box. I think he got a scare.

Well, I'm throwing in the towel and hope nobody gets the crazy idea to fledge now. Its almost 9 there...thank goodness they are in an earlier time zone so I don't have to get up at the crack of MY dawn...

the little male may test his wings tomorrow...I'm still seeing some fluff...sure wish he would wait until its all gone...that probably won't happen, though..

I'm sure they would appreciate a bedtime snack...wonder if they will get one..
