Thanks...glad you caught the switch..I've seen "interesting" spots as well...one time I thought it was a good start to a pip...but, when I enlarged, it was dark gravel, sitting right behind the egg..

well, at least we think something is going on... :egg19:

Oh good grief...the rain has mucked up the cam..and I was so hoping to get a glimpse of the night time glowing eggs..

I'm starting to think we suffered from a mass hysteria yesterday...I'm seeing none of the same behavior (to speak of) today...LOL

Carly/SGB - agree with you both.

I have been out running errands most of the day, but between trips, came home and checked Rochester and here. Everytime I've checked this cam, all has been very calm/still.

I also got a little nervous, thinking maybe they are not viable eggs on her first clutch - similar to Cher in SF, but there were extenuating circumstances there.

Anyway, yesterday, she was moving, razorback, etc. Could have sworn I was going to open the cam this morning and see babies.

I do know Cher moved her eggs a bit a few days before hatch, but not as extreme as Scarlet. When Cher moved her eggs, I was shocked as I had never seen anything like it before - except for maybe Durand.

Well, I still have my fingers crossed...I've had the cam up all day...(not that I watched the entire time)..but saw little of what we saw yesterday...I'm hoping at least hatches for both of them.

GOSH, IT NEVER OCCURED TO ME TO BE ALARMED. THEY ARE JUST NOW DUE TO HATCH, I THINK I'VE READ ZEUS HAS DONE SOME OF THIS MOVING OF EGGS, BACK ON THE 1ST I NOTED SHE MOVES AS IF SHE IS RIDING OUT A WAVE OF CHICKS MOVING UNDER HER. AT THAT TIME MOST OF MY VIEWING WAS @ NIGHT AND ONCE IN THE MORNING. THE THING THAT WAS DIFFERENT FOR ME YESTERDAY IS HER GETTING UP AND LOOKING DOWN AS IF SHE COULD HEAR A CHICK CHIRPING FROM ONE OF THE EGGS. I HOPE EVERYTHING IS OKAY.

I CALLED THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND AND THE PERSON ANSWERING THE PHONE IS FAMILIAR WITH THE FALCON CAM HERE. THE REASON IT IS OUT IS THEY EXPERIENCED A POWER OUTAGE. UNFORTUNATELY, THE EARLIEST THE CAM WILL BE UP, PROBABLY MONDAY! :egg15:

Yeah they are not expecting power back in that section of South Bend until Monday, although it's a business area, so maybe sooner.
