Schatzi
It’s so difficult to express what I feel
And sadness is so overwhelming.
As Schatzi is no longer breathing
And this is, unfortunately, true.

Bad storm has carried her wings
In completely disastrous direction;
She tried not to fall on the ground
Oblivious of our affection.

The latest and the only child
Of her mother known as Kathy Q
Had only so short a life –
They won’t live happily together.

And our tears couldn’t help,
Nor grief that grips our hearts
Because the life was snuffed out
And nobody can get it back.

Her mother will now alone
Sit on her ledge and remember
Her Schatzi, her little daughter
Who flies across the Rainbow Bridge.
