Bird Cams Around the World

I am with you SWINWK. But this is a peregrine's life and a testament to how successful the reintroduction has been. We have seen many new claims on territories just since I have been watching in the last 7 or 8 years. While it is so hard with individual birds and sites, we must rejoice in the big picture for the species.

This is so bitter sweet...I'm thrilled to see that Sesenta is alive and well, particularly since he carries the genes of KathyQ and Kinney...but, I don't want anything to happen to Will!! Oh geeeeeeeeeeez....gigi you mention new adults...plural. Has there been an unidentified female here as well? I'm so behind...

We are pretty sure the female is KathyQ but really don't know for sure. Just assumed she was letting Will in the box and it turned out not to be Will at all. So, is it KathyQ. Don't know for sure. If anyone gets a good band read here is what you should be looking for:

band on the left leg is black over red *B/*C
*B looks like a McDonald's double arches with a underline unless she is holding her foot out, then it is B upright. The *C looks like a "fat" letter U when laid on its side.

Just arrived home after spending the morning in search of falcons. Did not see any anywhere so I know nothing more than before. Guess I will watch this play out on the cam, if the birds choose to visit the box.

We did speak to the parking lot attendant who recovered Schatzi's body so he is aware to be on the lookout. We hope he does not find anything...

At this point we have no idea if Will is still here, if Sesenta is just passing through, or what. I went downtown yesterday and saw no falcons. Truthfully, if I had seen any, I more than likely could not have made an identification. Last night a falcon was on the perch until I went to bed. It looked to be small, so perhaps a male. I just don't know.

Has anyone seen Kathy Q on the cam recently?

I enlarged Loza'a picture and tried to read the bands. Anybody??

Long bonding session ~ about 10 minutes. The one in the box is now gone. Wish he/she had given a better look at bands. At one time it was moving about, but I never got a good shot at the legs.

I Have not checked this cam for some time... Is the date and time off? No big deal, but I just wondered...
