SINCE SEEING DART I HAVE ONLY HAD TIME TO VIEW CAMS FOR SHORT STINTS. NOW THAT I HAVE A LITTLE MORE TIME I WANT TO RESPOND TO CATWOMAN: OMG I WAS VERY EXCITED AS WE HAD NOT SEEN HIM SINCE JUNE 11TH (SHORTLY AFTER HE FLEDGED) AND I DON'T WANT TO TYPE IN WORDS NOW WHAT I FELT WAS THE REASON BEHIND THIS. I STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT THEY DO REMAIN IN AREA FOR SEVERAL WEEKS AS THEY GAIN THEIR SKILLS REGARDLESS OF THE SITE, UNLESS A PARENT IS REPLACED AND THE NEW FALCON RUNS THEM OFF EARLY OR THEY ARE INJURED OR ETC. HE WAS NOT SEEN FOR WEEKS!!! KITTENFACE: I AM SO GLAD YOU ENJOYED MY COMMENTARY. THANK-YOU! LJAMES: I TOO DO NOT BELIEVE THE LINE "NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS." I want to thank all of you for your beautiful birthday greetings for me; those cakes were amazing and if I had been able eat just one small piece of each of them which I sure wish I could have - I would be - well - over weight - lol!!!! Thank you all for your greetings on facebook too - I have such wonderful friends even though I have not met many of you in person - the joys of the internet and our love of falcons. Just had a juvie on the ledge...don't know who...hee hee...but I think it could be Hoshi..not sure...I'm gonna enlarge a pic to see if I can check the right band..

She didn't!!! I think somebody must have been in her view, off cam..

I'm pretty sure it was Hoshi....can't prove it other than just looking at frames more closely...couple of times it looked like the sun caught that silver band and reflected...When I enlarged a few of the other frames, it appeared that right band appeared light in color...usually the purple right band appears very dark at this distance..

It sure would be nice if both of them would land...

IS THIS STILL DURAND? JUST GOT HOME AND A FALCON WAS IN SHADOW ON TOP OF NESTBOX. NOW HAS MOVED TO END OF LEDGE AND CAN SEE HEAD STICKING OUT OVER EDGE ONCE IN A WHILE. THE HEAD SEEMS SMALL FOR DURAND, BUT CAN'T IDENTIFY D/T SHADOWS. JUST DON'T KNOW. :egg16:

:egg19: ANOWLWITHKNEES, THANKS FOR YOUR CAPTURE! I LEFT FOR A FEW MINUTES AND NOW I DON'T SEE ANYONE ... COULD BE IN SHADOWS. APPARENTLY, THE FALCON I SAW EARLIER WITH THE SMALL HEAD WAS DURAND AND THE FUSSY ONE THAT ARRIVED TO MID LEDGE WAS SPARK, THEN THEY WENT IN THE NEST AS ABOVE. WITH THE DEEP SHADOWS IT MAKES IT SO HARD TO IDENTIFY, UNLESS THEY GO IN THE NEST. BUT HEY, I GOT TO SEE FALCONS TODAY!!! :egg17: :egg17:

:egg19: SKYGIRLBLUE, I TOO THINK IT WAS HOSHI AS I NOTICED THE SUN REFLECTING OFF THE BAND AND IT COULD NOT BE PURPLE AND DO THAT. UNLESS THEY RELEASED BLAZE TO LEDGE AND DIDN'T LET US KNOW. HOPE THEY GIVE US AN UPDATE SOON. THANKS FOR YOUR VIDEO.
