Not seeing any falcons around at the moment. I've been in Arizona for a week, and didn't see any Peregrines out there. Only falcon I saw was a Kestrel.

Well, you can't see in the scrape from downtown, Finchy. :-) But I did look at the monitor in Education Office, and didn't see anyone in the scrape. Got down there around 7:20. Lil Dad was on the top of the glass cubbie above the ledge when I arrived. Went up to the Chestnut Street Garage roof, and found the wing of a female Cardinal up there. :-( Shortly afterwards Niecey came in from Aberdeen and sat on the point for 10 or 15 minutes. She flew off down Aberdeen again, and I did not see her return. Somewhere around 8:00 Lil Dad took off, circled over the garage roof and then around the side of 333. I eventually found him on the 21st or 22nd louver ledge behind 333, but didn't see him land there. He stayed there a while, and I figured he was in for the night, but he flew back over to the point. Noticed that he has grown two new tail feathers to replace the ones he lost somewhere. He was still on the point when I left around 8:30.

The cam is refreshing, but only on the view of the point. Earlier this morning all the views were showing. Not sure what time things got fouled up.

8/8/2014 :: Update on Juveniles
The adults have return to the ledge periodically over the past several weeks. This is an indication that they are no longer flying with the fledges and that our young juvenile peregrines have become independent. Chances are, they have already arrived in one of our great flyways, where they'll be sustained by soon to occur mass migrations.
