The falcons Nordet and Mistral on the roof of the Saint Joseph's Oratory - July 3, 2014



A nest of branches under a roof of Saint Joseph's Oratory, we do not know by whom and when it was built - seems to attract peregrine falcons at the University of Montreal. The video shows the visit of the nest with 3 of them: 2 adults Roger and Spirit and a falcon, Mistral.

In yesterday morning, Samantha was picked up by a kestrel.

This morning Samantha has settled on a tree as he often does. It is probably too small for her and she is completely upside down but she managed to right themselves in some way. Then she went to sit on the old fireplace occupied by kestrels, one of them attacked Samantha several times without success. Samantha responded without leave. Then she caught a bird near the little green bridge bike path, probably a starling, she killed with difficulty.... more pics here https://www.flickr.com/photos/torodan/

Samantha is soaked legs in the Lachine Canal.
