Bev Thank you , I have continued this evening.

6.51 pm Time for dinner . :sum7:

Swift still looking around and looking for Aspro.
She eats part of the inventory from the right corner and immediately flies in the area .
Circling above the grove, returns.
Mom probably did not know where it is Aspro.
She is not flying with food to feed her

Apologies for terrible video quality - we're looking in to it. Here we see this season's young peregrine fledgling, Aspro, fall from the tower on a very windy day in Orange. Aspro's whereabouts are still unknown, a day later, after a full campus search. We'll keep searching. More info can be found on our website at falconcamproject.org

Thanks so much for the coverage and for bringing the vid here..

Here's the link to the blog for easy access:

That was a very unfortunate header out of the box...and bless his/her heart...trying so hard to get back in. I believe there are some low lying buildings near the water tower...I wonder if they checked the tops of them?

Well, I'm gonna remain positive for now...I had forgotten that Solo had been missing for 5 days..I'm hoping the same for Aspro..

No time to look now, but I'll see if I can find some pics of the area...I know we posted some before, but no time to look...

Come on Aspro....show yourself!!

If there had been a wrung attached to box Aspro would have been O.K.

I may suggest that for further times. I was looking for pictures of area also Skygirlblue. I know I saw some somewhere but mind foggy

positive vibes

Oh my gosh, that's the saddest thing, Aspro looking back into the box. I remember Solo missing for all that time. I sure hope that Aspro turns up too, poor little dear. :girlsad3:

From the looks of those pictures it looks like Aspro might have fell onto that roof. Or is there a gap between the tower & that building.
Does anyone know?

OMG!

Swift was in the nest box, Beau came with prey. Swift took it and flew off with it, to the bare (dead?) tree at the right of the screen.
Beau cleaned his talons and flew to that same tree. And then a bird came flying from the left, could that be Aspro? (I truly hope so :-) )

So glad you saw that DEF! I can't imagine a bird other than Aspro flying to a tree where there were 2 peregrines! Fingers crossed!

Priscilla, thank you for posting the pictures of the tower & surrounding area!

As always, thanks for the captures & videos! What a great team we have!

yesterday Swift was flying low to a tree on the lower left. the circled area shows where.

It would make sense for Aspro to be getting stronger . they would be encouraging Aspro to get higher if it is Aspro. I have watched our adults do this when one is not as high as it should be

Perhaps the pilgrims have different behaviors .... when little in Minesota fell from the nest .... bothered by insects (he was smaller Aspro .... had so much lint) parents were no longer in the nest, but they were from him .... the beauty of the cam was moving .... we were able to frame it and then I felt ... I was pià quiet .... I hope it is as you say it is beautiful .... Aspro think about those trees ..... so enterprising
