We have seen the young in trees at de Mortel, also. they do to nest in trees but they have also been in trees after fledge in San Francisco. I could name a few other places also.

We had them in trees on our Pembina , where Gord hacks them. We could nto find them at first but they were so well hidden in the trees.

so I guess they go where they can. As long as they can roost.

Hi bev...I saw and recorded that...went back through, frame by frame, in hopes of seeing if something had caught her attention to cause her to leave..Nothing...Also kept seeing her look above the box...wonder who or what was up there...

If memory serves me, the fledges from here often end up in the trees we see on cam...I think they have even named one the "falcon tree"...or did I dream that...I do know that there are pics on the blog of previous fledges in the trees...

If Aspro is indeed in that grove of trees, I just can't see him/her leaving that area yet..just my opinion..

10.07am I meet her again in the window, looks up down.

she just came back in and came from that grove of trees
just waiting for video to finish.

@Loza, from 0:47 she focusses to the left, then she looks straight on in front of her at the tree and again focussing to the left.

Seems like she was deciding to "go for it"
and went for a prey for Aspro, who would though be in a tree in the front....

I haven't been able to get the nestcam either SWINWK. Wonder if its just overloaded with people trying. Ledgecam is OK though.

Swift left the box at 5:39 am aussie time...she went to the right...Not light enough for me to tell if she circled to the dead tree area...

Beau returned at 5:52 am...Looked like there was a white feather stuck to one of his talons...he lost it before landing...so, maybe there was a food exchange..

Of course, I wasn't paying attention and was recording a cam that had stopped...LOL

I must admit that I have not seen ever so long Beau in the slot.

The film is long but his visit was more than 1 hour.

Did not see what I propose to see the behavior of Beau

I looked again. 7.17 am again visit Beau

Departure 7.25 am

Transmission is horrible, every now and every now and then I have to refresh.

I agree, loza...Beau has been in there a very long time...but, no more...Swift has returned..

Swift coming in...I'm pretty sure she's yelling "get outta my way!!"...

They were in the box together for a few seconds, but I didn't have that cam open, so don't know what they were doing...

Swift is currently lounging...

forgot to post this yesterday

I iwillnot be able to watch much in next while but will peek when I can.

I remain hopeful for our Aspro and remember , sometimes the young do not come back to the box.

I saw beau come in quickly as Swift was lyin g down. Beau chattered and quickly left .( a very quick in and out for Beau)

Swift got up and went to door an d left a bit later.

at 11:32am beau is in I believe.

A brief update from Cilla...bless her heart..sounds like she has no help...still nothing..Sounds like they haven't checked the tops of nearby buildings yet...I think that would have been my first stop based on the footage of Aspro's unfortunate slip.....sigh...

I'm not giving up yet!!!
