Thanks kittenface. That was a pretty good article. It should certainly make people aware of the situation. I know when I was in Harrisburg and saw the fledgewatch, there were many folks involved, but the average person on the street had no clue there were even falcons there, much less the juvies were fledging. Everybody should be on the lookout for a juvie in distress.

Thanks for all the pictures today. Tomorrow's the big day . . . and they sure look ready to test their wings outside the cage, don't they? ;)

With the wind beneath their wings, they will get cooled off a bit when they fledge. Everything is being crossed and many prayers are being said right now. If I can, I'll send pictures from the ground. I'm sure there is wi-fi there somewhere.

Well, I am ready. Front row seat, even though I can barely see them in there. I know they are ready too. :popc:
Good Idea on the candles, they need everything going for them today. :)

Well, I'm home today too because of a sore back. Someone is already manning the cam.

Thanks, Beth! This was the deciding factor in whether or not I stayed home today. Might have to leave to go to the doctor, but I'm hoping I can just get the info over the phone. About the time I have to leave, they'll take off...

Hi, Reenie! The VA cams crash IE, so all I've been able to do with IE is take quick peeks, then leave the site. I don't have Firefox at work either, so I knew I wouldn't be able to see much if I was at work.

Hey Reenie, I'm using FF, but it stops, starts, have to refresh, etc. Challenge. They put the frozen water bottle on about 9, then have to wait for the thing to melt for the door to open. I hope this is right, never was really clear on this procedure.

That's what I'm having to do, too, as far as refreshing. You're right on the water bottle procedure, & they thought it would take a couple of hours for the ice to melt.

Well, I'm half afraid to try to install whatever is needed. This computer has its problems under the best of circumstances.
