Yes she was hatched 2013 at the Froedtert Malt now Malteutrop Complex Milwaukee.
Not sleeping well so I have to go to bed. :offtobed: Maybe she will have something for me to look at in the morning. :loveheart:

I don't know who is on the eggs now, but the bird is finding it impossible to sit still. Just saw all 4 eggs. Leaving shortly to take a friend to the airport. Hoping for a pip we can see!

At 10:02 - Maltese is on eggs and really interested in something. Moving around a lot, but my cam is freezing up.

10:08 - She's really focused on something under her. She's not on eggs & I see 1 a little off to side. She's not abandoning egg, just focused on something. I think she's waiting for Zeus to show up.

Those eggs look RIPE. Obviously something is happening as both Maltese and Zeus are antsy on the eggs.

I don't know if it's just me, but it always seems the eggs get really shiny before hatch and start to look larger?

No live action outside, so I've been watching the cam since about 12:50. Maltese is on the eggs, or I should rather say hovering over the eggs. I do think that the darkest one has pipped.


Maltese is very attentive today, although yesterday afternoon
she did "abandon" the eggs for an ENTIRE MINUTE :eek: :???: :shock: :eek: :sad: :eek: while she sunned herself on the perch. Didn't leave cam range though. We'll see if today is the day! And we'll see if Zeus does what he did in his first year of fatherhood and sits on the eggshell ! :lol:

I'm watching Dorothy over in Pittsburgh, just stand over her eggs. It's hot there and I'm wondering if it's hot in South Bend. If so, maybe that's why she is hovering over eggs. I'm just surprised she's not scooching on them more.

There's a view - all intact. She just took off. 3:09pm.

Zeus is coming in for duty. He seems very interested in the egg that we think has a pip (white spot).

He's not getting on them tightly either, so I do think it must be warm.
