well as Dorothy sits on its head, good solution, I have given it one last effort and sent another email to the address I put in here a posts up.

and my post , was deleted from kates blog. and it was a good one. But they also do not want anyone to ever disagree with them. How sad , . I defended those of us they think know nothing and just sit on our laurels 2 months a year and frivolously watch.

be safe sweet baby. I have tried . I will look in from time to time but with my nests ready to hatch out next week, this has just drained me. I am a coward , I guess. sorry. I tried :girlsad3:

Bless sweet Dorothy, she needs to give it space.

I guess this is called loving someone to death...God bless Dorothy. Wish someone would check this baby out but it appears calls, messages, etc are falling on deaf ears..lots of censoring. Sad.....

I am in tears right now after reading your post just now! I feel like I am a coward too. That's just about all I can think about is that poor little one who needs an intervention which is being denied! I look for updates on our forum as I can't bring myself to look on the page. :cryinggirl:

I just sent another email asking for the name of the biologist in charge of this nest. If they can't give me that, then I asked for my email to be forwarded to that person.

I tried to appeal to logic along the lines of: You're going to the nest anyway, why not go early. Everyone thinks this chick is genetically defective, so why should it matter about banding..."no one" thinks it will survive to fledge anyway, etc, etc., etc...of course, I didn't word it like that. I also threw in "what if its condition is treatable"...(ya never know)

anyway, I don't know what else I can do at this point...

I think one of the things that gets to me the most (other than the lack of intervention) is the fact that they are planning on going there anyway for banding. I just cannot comprehend what the big deal is about not moving that up. Are they so booked up with bandings that they can't alter their schedule? Blows my mind..

I have been saying the same thing over and over SGB they just don't respond to me anymore, also I see a lot of my posts have been removed.
I must be one of those they don't want to hear from anymore.

Oh ....don't feel bad..my posts have been removed on the Pitt Falconut page...and got quite the reprimand from Pitt Peregrines on that FB page. I haven't been back to that page today so I'm not sure if those posts are still there....

Exactly, SGB... Plus - look at what can be learned from this...
It doesn't make sense.
Period.

One more thing - The nest is in the "Cathedral of LEARNING" - doncha think they have a biologist (or two or three) right there?????

I have been doing the same. their lack of action and their deleting of comments that are to the point, is inexcusable. You cannot bury your head in the sand too long before it all backfires.

OMG! He's up! Last I saw he was on his side but as soon as Dorothy stepped back, he rolled onto his back. Visited some other topics & thought it was awfully quiet (he had been yelling) so I thought I'd better check & there he was!

It would be nice if they would take a minute to smooth out that bowl when they go up to band. He was stuck in there again. I see Dorothy is now in it so maybe she's trying to keep him out of it.

That must have just happened as I just checked about 10-15 min ago and she was laying on his head and he was on his back. Fantastic.

Poor baby looks so tired. S(He) is standing up, against backwall and sleeping.

Sounds like maybe dinner or a snack is about to arrive.

Baby is preening now. Hopefully she stays up. Well, I thought she was preening, but maybe trying to tuck her head?

Well, I'm not going to get to watch much more today. My Dad and nephew are about to arrive to stay the night.

I hope baby is okay, really hope baby is okay.
