:loveshow: Ditto for me - great catch! Like catwoman, I check this cam every day and have never been able to catch anyone home.

It sure looks like that nest box is huge! The falcon looks so small in it.

More on the Wilmington Falcons . . .

I just checked the new Web site for Wilmington's Peregrine Falcons at http://wilmfalcons.com/index.html. While it's not supposed to be "officially" up until February 22 (if I remember correctly), you can now access the cam via the site and there's also a link for "Nestbox News/Blog." I checked the blog and, lo and behold, there's a picture with both falcons in the nest from February 12!

I don't remember seeing this Wilmington nest in the past, but that picture on their website with all those juvies looks wonderful. Yep, seen that stance she took many times.

Thank you all for the info about Wilmington nest. It has a nice (flash) video ( http://www.dosbirds.org/wilmfalcons ) and a frequently updated blog with photos (blog url: http://wilmfalcons.com/blog.htm ; RSS feed: http://wilmfalcons.com/blog/?feed=rss2 ), great to be up to date if you don't have enough time to wath live video.

This nest promises to give us much fun !!

The only way I catch anyone, is to just leave the cam up. I knew someone was there as I saw a toenail for the longest time....I think someone is on the ledge more than we think...got lucky when he jumped into the box...Now if I could have equal luck with Richmond...(of course, it would probably help if I left that cam up...hee hee)
