RE: Romeoville has its own thread..so far, its the only Illinois cam working...grrrrrrrrrrr...I had it open for quite a while today...its the second time I've heard a falcon, outside the box...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, again..

I have a gut feeling that the female here is almost ready to lay an egg. :loveheart: Watching this evening as it was getting dark she stayed in the box and seemed to make the motions of being in labor. She never left the box as it got very dark and the picture pixalated so much you couldn't tell if there was somebody in there.

I think there's an egg...just based on her behavior. She looks like she's scrunching down on an egg when you watch her..she's got that wiggle we're all familiar with..

Last year this nest was three days behind Harrisburgh (March 14 and March 17, their first hatches also were three days apart).
So it is an earlier nest. I took a look just now and it does look like there is an egg underneath her.
