well, 7 out of 13 of today's pics showed no parents....and I'm not really sure if the male was in any of the remaining pics.

I have emailed Greg Septon with the concern. He was quick to respond last year when we noticed something amiss with Oak Creek.

I also asked him about the Milwaukee nest/cam, etc...and if he had gotten any confirmation that Tahoe had reappeared there.

With it being the weekend, I doubt I will hear anything back until Monday..

Also, still 1 egg at Pleasant Prairie..

He must be extremely busy as I never heard back from him (unusual)...but, he did reference the concerns under Port Washington..

From the looks of the stills, I'm not finding as many pics of alone eggs (knock on wood) so hopefully, whatever was going on, if anything, is finished..

Well the report says Port Washington female is 91/P no color mentioned. Data base has 2 91/P both males :think

I haven't made any changes to my master list yet (I was afraid something would change), but if you go back and look at his original blog entry



it gives the info as b/r 91/P, a 2014 hatch from the Consumers Energy B.C. Cobb Power Plant in Muskegon, Michigan.

I heard back from Greg!! Here's his email:

    I was out of town over the weekend but was watching the same situation you were via the hourly images on the web site. Unfortunately the web cam at Port has had problems and at least for now I can’t control it to watch & see if there indeed was an intruder present. Whether incubation was underway long enough for the absence of adults to make a difference or not is up in the air so well just have to wait & watch. On a more positive note the adults were on the eggs on all of yesterday’s hourly images.

    And, yes, the Milwaukee County Power Plant (MCPP) is now owned by the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center (MRMC) so this is no longer on the We Energies site. I do have cam access and monitor things but at this point there is no public access. I’m hoping this will change as things move forward. Every time there is a management change or property sale the wheel needs to be reinvented with respect to all new personnel, policies, IT arrangements, security, etc., etc. This is one of the most difficult and often times frustrating aspects of managing urban nesting peregrines but it’s the world we live in.

    Re. 33/U - yes she is back at the MRMC site for her 3rd year and incubating 4 eggs with estimated hatch dates of May 7-9. Her mate is once again “Asa” (b/r) 17/M, back for his second year.
