No food delivery to box all day.
Looks like Vim is sleeping and Mel is in doorway flapping.
The down is still flying off her when she flaps.

Well well well! The wrong one gone when I wake up!
Shoulda named her WHOOPS!
She will making LOTS of noise shrieking for food.

Heli- Xavier will help flight train them, but I'd be surprised if he shares any food - Diamond will do that. The 2 in th box will scream their heads off when they see Mum bring Rubi food. THAT will entice them to fledge. Ha! :D


She RUNS, she MISSES, she's OUT!
Rubi ran to window from the back, missed her grip on the ledge, and down. bev is right, Rubi was least ready, and Cilla is considering putting a perch there if possible. Mum will likely spend the night VERY close to her.

First flight

One is off, I’m guessing Rubi. Not a very elegant departure, so I’ll go and have a look around shortly. Not very elegant photos, either! One of the staff members saw her on the ground near the building and she’s since found her way to a large stump in the centre of the woodland, obviously not injured and is reasonably high off the ground.

I took these yesterday, being probably the last day when I could get all three together, and I was right.
At the time of writing, still two in the tower and one in the bushes. And thanks to Denis and Tiffany for helping me locate the wayward Rubi.

Welcome Shines. What a beautiful first flight by Vim. He flew a nice long circular arc. Woo hoo!

Mel is snoozing by the ledge and seemed to be summing up the courage to fledge, I noticed in your video she called out and 'jumped' around after Vim fledged, they both were sleeping together in the corner, and Diamond was on the ledge last night.

I did see some flying out there but whether falcon or not , do not know but it did come form grove and then left. lots of flies but then quite a mess in box

sh e is up and has been flapping by front. hope she does not go tonight but I am sure she will go tomorrow
she has really been watching and looking gabove her. someone must be there out of our site

cam is freezing but she is really flapping . good crop and looks good .wing s nice and extended

doing a video but sh e is so ready. She is going to have a snack now. That is what the male did before he left. Hope she does not want to take it with her. This is all good practice for when they are out there.
