Yes, I think the egg was wet. That wind is really whipping around up there on the ledge. A little bit ago I could hear thunder at my place.

I think y'all just answered your own question. That egg reflects light differently when wet. Sure wish Mom would get busy laying another to keep the poor lonesome thing company!

THAT IS LIL DAD I BELIEVE BECAUSE IT LOOKS LIKE MOM ON THE STEEPLE.

I was supposed to leave work a while ago but I'd like to see an egg being laid. I know as soon as I turn off my computer that egg is going to come out.

Is this the way Mom usually acts when she is trying to lay one? Could never view the live cam before.

LAST YEAR, HER FIRST ONE WAS THE 21ST AND THE SECOND ONE THE 24TH, NOW SHE MIGHT HAVE LAID IT DURING THE NIGHT ON THE 23RD, BUT WE ALWAYS COUNTED IT AS THE DAY WE SEE IT FIRST. SOOOOOO, IF SHE DOESN'T HAVE IT BY DARK TIME, I WOULD SAY SHE MIGHT SURPRISE US IN THE MORNING :grin:

Hi Connie, glad you can view the cam now. It's very exciting isn't it? Very unpredictable.

I've been watching before and thought, oh they are in position, only to see an egg two days later, and sometimes watching and be like, good grief, is that an egg there? :lol:
