no time for pics, but the above bird is definitely banded on the wrong leg...LOL I haven't been able to make out the color...but, could be b/r or even black (which would mean Canada)..heck, I'm not sure what color it is..I'll post pics tonight.

It still looks like bl 77/X, like Amy Said

What is so strange is that bl 77/X has just flat out disappeared from the Database (I knew I should have taken a pic of it)

I have found 75, 76, 78, and 79/X, all 2011 Hatch year birds from Ontario...but, 77 is gone!!

If its a black band, then it is. Canada bands black/black. I just don't see any color on the bottom band. There are only 3 choices that I know of for USA banded birds: black/red, black/green and very recently, black/blue.

If she is a Canada bird - and this is her first year in this box, it could be why eggs are a lil late. I wonder where she has nested in the past - and where the last few years birds are.

She seems VERY suspicious of the cam

they're kinda all like that when they enter a box with a cam for the first time. Maybe they see their reflection? I've even seen them attack the box cam.

We have a falcon standing quietly at the edge of the nestbox. I cannot see it's head, so it might be sleeping.....

6.30 am O GOOD! BOTH came in - briefly
8.40 am BOTH again, this time bowed for longer

It might be cuz I've been away a lot this week,
but she doesnt seem to be inside as much
