LATE POSTING, BUT WHEN I CHECKED IN AROUND 6AM, EVERYONE WAS THERE. KIDS IN SCRAPE, NIECEY ON SHIELD AND LIL DAD ON THE STICK. KIDS KEPT SCREAMING AND I THINK SOMEWHERE AROUND 6:30 THEY DID HAVE SOMETHING, BUT NOT MUCH. I THINK THEY PROBABLY ALREADY ATE BEFORE I CHECKED IN.

RIGHT NOW, NIECEY IS LAYING IN THE SCRAPE WITH THE KIDS, LOL!

EARLIER TWO KIDS WERE WORKING ON SOMETHING DOWN BY THE ORANGE POLE. BLUE WAS IN THE SCRAPE BOTHERING NIECEY. RIGHT NOW, NIECEY IS LAYING OUTSIDE THE BACK DOOR AND LIL DAD IS DOWN THE LEDGE FEEDING TWO OF THE CHICKS WHILE THE OTHER ONE SLEEPS BY THE POLE.

Didn't take these kids long to find the nice shade of the orange post. They will need it according to the weather this week. Nice out there today. Have been doing yard work and with the wind right now it's not bad working outside. Time to pack hubby's lunch for work and feed him.

Came in from yard work to find a feeding underway about halfway between the orange post and the stick. Little Dad was feeding one chick while Niecey fed the other two.

SAW THE ENTIRE FAMILY THIS MORNING. NIECEY IS FLYING AROUND MAYBE LOOKING FOR BREAKFAST WHILE LIL DAD KEEPS AN EYE ON THE KIDS WHILE SITTING ON THE STICK. BY THE LOOKS OF IT, BLUE IS THE MOST DEMANDING AND ALWAYS SCREAMING AT WHICH EVER ADULT IS NEAR, LOL!

Red on the point playing with a head of a bird. Lil Dad was there and took off. The other two are by the scrape sleeping and Niecey was on the stick.

his way up the ledge flapping his wings. Niecey now on the shield.

A couple of minutes ago. Lil' Dad watching the two in the shadow and Niecey has one in the scrape.

Gosh, wish I had seen Red playing with that head. :biggrin:

Just saw Little Dad do a very short feeding to two chicks in the scrape. I couldn't see the third one for a while, but it's zonked out at the window. Niecey on guard on the point.

Forgot to post earlier, but I could hear a commotion and Lil' Dad was in the scrape squeaking for some bonding time, Niecey on the stick giving him that are you kidding look and the chicks down the ledge screaming as they always do. Very funny to watch it unfold.

NIECEY WAS ON THE STICK THIS MORNING WATCHING OVER THE KIDS. RB WAS ON THE STICK TOO, BUT THE FATTER PART ON THE LEDGE. HE WAS EVEN DOING LEG AND WING STRETCHES. AT ONE POINT, BLUE WAS REALLY FLAPPING AND RED WOULD TURN HIS HEAD TO WATCH, SO CUTE! THEN BLUE CAME OUT THE SCRAPE TO BE WITH RED AND WHITE WAS THE LAST TO VENTURE OUT FINALLY AFTER STANDING IN THE CORNER OF THE SCRAPE SOME AND HEADING TOWARDS THE BACK DOOR, BUT THEN CAME BACK TO THE FRONT OF THE SCRAPE AND SAT ON THE STICK IN FRONT OF THE SCRAPE.

Around 7:00 Little Dad brought in some small prey. Red Boy snatched it, and managed to feed the entire thing to himself. Afterwards Red was over at the column, WAY to far over for my concerns. Too soon to worry about that.

There was a short feeding down near the point about ten minutes ago. Afterwards there was some major wing flapping by either Blue or White. Red has been attacking the orange post. It's downright HOT here today. They will probably all settle down for a nap shortly.
