Good morning everyone- is there something wrong with the ledge cam? I have had the same view of huddling chicks for a long while now and refreshing does not work - yikes!! not now!!

I see a lot of movement in their huddle so I am not sure! It's strange seeing all 4 on top of the box! I don't think I've ever seen that before. I see feathers on the ledge swaying back and forth. So I think it may be working okay...........

thank you for the response - I do see the chicks on the nest box - you are right I have never seen all of the chicks on the nest box at once. I thought for sure we would see one or two fly off this morning - I wanted to go down early but stayed up too late and could not wake up so early - lol

I literally gasped when I saw this just now.......

Another fledge but I wasn't quick enough to capture. Two have fledged.

I think I will just watch for now! HAHA I get too excited about these babies.......

Thank you! That looked like a nice strong take-off. What a great video of the fledge. Good luck little one. Thank goodness for SGB's recorder! Last night, I looked at some of the video's posted yesterday and had no idea they had music...lol. How wonderful. I have no sound on my office computer, so I had no idea. Those videos are great!

I really miss the sound here. Especially, with the fledge. Not hearing what's going on off ledge is tough. The remaining 3 kids are having a very relaxing, lazy day. I've seen some occasional flapping from one on top of the box roof, who seemed to enjoy hopping from the roof top down into the doorway behind the box and back to the roof again. Two of the remaining kids still have fluff. Not sure about the 3rd. Two of them found some prey by the drain that they shared. It's a warm sunny day in Columbus at this moment (84 degrees) with a good breeze. All the kids have moved into the shade out of view. The afternoon siesta.

10:41 am - All 3 present and accounted for. 2 tails on the ledge and one standing. Lots of fluff under the back feathers of the chick on the left.

thanks nadia for the "kid" location report...I didn't see where they went...For the longest time, 1 or 2 had been on/off the ledge and I think #3 was behind the box.

I really miss the sound too...that's why I had to stick some music with the vids..it was just too quiet..

I haven't been watching continuously, but I just saw one on the platform on the side of the box that hopped down to the lower ledge and made its way to the far ledge corner out of view. Not sure where that chick came from. Maybe behind the box? I think they are all in the shade on the lower ledge near the ledge cam. Probably pretty hot in the direct sun.
