Mom I think feeding the chicks through the cage now. She is all wet! :clap:

Raining again. One chick s soak and wet. I believe that's the boy, looks smaller. Both in the scrape out of the rain. Don't know if they were fed. But then again they don't look like they are unnourished. :egg11:

Back and forth she goes but finally she gets to the right spot. They must be very hungry, one of them jumped up on the cage to try and get the food.

Glad DGIF is keeping taps. I knew they would. They always have. The new female just needed to get use to having to feed this way. Ozzie and Harriet had to learn too. We as humans don't like it either. :egg11:

Great to see all these updates, thanks to everyone! So glad these guys were self feeding, we had not seen much.

Sorry I can't watch much, I am so swamped with birds right now, nobody in my area wants to rehab anymore, and they are way too many orphans and nobody else to take them. I have to pick who lives and who gets euthanized now :(

Watch these guys and Blue was doing some serious flapping and Red just sat there and looked at him. Looks like there is at least some air blowing like here in Pa. Suppose to go to 92 and very high humidity tomorrow and Sunday. Calling for rain tonight a d tomorrow also. These darlings sure don't look like they are lacking in the eating department. They look very well fed. :clap:

I am impressed with th e folks here. I remember originally how upset people were by the cage, but they did it for the safety of the falcons. And that is what thi sis all about.

So hats off to them for caring and watching. Falcons are so adaptable

Sally...that gave me quite the heart attack....then a good laugh and a quick race off to the cam...to see who had opened the pen...LOL

Anyway, pics from the brunch~finally.

It was in progress when I opened the cam..

the male finished first and went to play in the box

Female kept eating

and eating

she eventually had enough and Mom finished off the meal...after mom left, the female tested out her wings.

she tried to get the male up to play, but no luck

so she entertained herself.
