Wow, those pictures of the prey are something else! I watched Mom in Harrisburg bring in a Pigeon once, and the thing was still alive while she started plucking feathers. As for the names, Newman is pretty cool. The names Scarlet and Rhett were given to a pair in Baltimore several years ago.

Hello everyone - sorry, I have not been able to post anything today - I saw that both Scout and her new man were on the ledge today - I looked out one of the office windows this morning (9:30 am) and lo and behold there was a falcon on the stadium - I got a few pictures so I will post a few of them - I think it might have been Clementine - not sure though. Irina and I went out for lunch but did not see any falcons at all and I looked again at around 2:30 but again no falcons. Irina is still almost convinced that the male downtown could be the male from OSU as so far we have not seen 2 falcons at the same time that there were 2 falcons downtown. It's rather frustrating actually. Pearl did ask me if Tangy had that distinctive white markings on his head - I noticed that on the male downtown so I am anxious to see if Irina has some sort of picture that would show the top of his head. I am still dismayed that this could be the same male but also hopeful that we have two different birds.

I am so bummed too - the Buckeyes just lost in the Sweet 16 game by 3 points - how depressing is that!!

Thanks for the report Rosekk. :thumbegg: I was worried about you. Let us hope that there are 2 males. If not, maybe a new one will come by the stadium

Thanks for video Arjen :thumbegg:

Thank you Bev - I really appreciate yours and everyone's concern - my daughter is here from GA too and we were spending a little time together this afternoon

I hope we get this issue cleared up about the male falcons at OSU and downtown real soon - it's hard for me because I have gotten so attached to our couple at Ohio State

Speaking of OSU - Thank you Susan for your kind words about the Buckeyes - it was hard to see them lose.

Yes unfortunately, the Buckeyes lost by a mere 3 points - If only the other guys had helped Evan score more points - they cant win with one guy scoring. I am in major depression - it doesnt help when I am so much up in the air about the falcons too.

I am going to be going to Mass and Eucharistic adoration this morning and I will take everyone there with me in my thoughts and keep you all in my prayers. It's the beginning of Holy Week in the Christian world.

Thank you SGB for your kind words and your diligent watch of Scout and her lover - I think if this is not Tangy it should be Handsome - you are right about Cassanova as well SGB if we only have one male

He has been sitting down in front of the box for awhile, then just now flew to this end making a rather funny sound and is now enjoying leftovers:
