It's almost too dark to see, but one of the falcons just came to the eggs down there! :-)

That's good news--the eggs will need to be kept warm tonight! Have a wonderful time tomorrow Wilmington people & Jane & Reenie! Hope she shows herself a lot & doesn't yell at you!

Can't wait to see all of you from Harrisburg. I'm pumped up too. At least it won't rain in the morning. Have a safe trip.

All of us coming from Harrisburg are VERY pumped up. Of course we're looking forward to seeing Red Girl as a beautiful adult, and also meeting those of you from Delaware. I've met at least one of you in Harrisburg last year. And Faith, we won't leave until we get to see you. Hold off that rain, please!

Why is one egg still so much darker than the other?

They were both in there maybe 30/45 minutes ago. Then she was on the eggs for a bit, now both are out of the nest.

The male caught red girl some prey. Defeathered it for her, ate part and then brought to the ledge for her. She's now eating on a ledge on the bldg.

Betty and I enjoyed meeting everyone with the Wilmington peregrines in view this morning. We checked for feathers on the sidewalk on our way out. Mourning Dove. At least the third in three days if I read the evidence right: one before or during Friday morning's rain (had been wet), one since then but before the male took off hunting this morning, and the one we saw him return with.

Cool! I'm glad you got to see some activity with Red Girl & her mate! I'll be waiting for the pics/vids later on.

just curious, how far from the Wilmington Train station is the scrape? When time permits , I want to be able to hop aboard the R2 to wilmington from philly. Is it a long schlepp from the Amtrak station to a good vista to view from?
