a few minutes ago I heard chupping but i did not get here quick enough . I saw male fly off so he may have been in box becasue Scout was in box.

Scout just came out of box and flew off also

Thanks for the pictures and videos. That video of the two in the box was so cute. He was all excited when Scout came in but then after a little bonding, he looked like he was looking for the door.

But boy has he come a long way.

Curtis, I was meaning to comment on this but then so much action at this nest got me sidetracked. Then today I remembered again. It sure would be great if there were a Columbus Fledge Watch Team this year with "more feet on the ground." I sure hope it works out.

If y0u have a nature bird watching group there, e-mail them and see if anyone is interested. that is how I got a lot of my interest in Edmnton and then maybe post it in you by-line .

He came out of the box and flew, and now I guess she has too.

Finally had a chance to check those videos from today. Noticed that Newman has a lot of white over his beak. And such long legs, but maybe they look that way because he's not banded. Boy, he's a big male, that's for sure. If he was in Harrisburg, we'd have to call him Big Daddy!

You are so right about our new male being so big, Jane - Pearl1 commented all along about his size. his legs are so sexy too - he is all leg as they say! maybe it is because he is not banded - I sure love to know where he came from - maybe one of the bridges in north Ohio Cuyahoga county perhaps (if this is not Tangy). I like Big Daddy too
