I have been so involved with the OSU falcons that I have missed the goings on here! I will be downtown this afternoon so I hope to see the pair flying around the area. I don't understand though - why don't we have eggs yet? It doesn't appear that we will have eggs here on campus so I can turn my thoughts to Scout again and hopefully get some great pictures. Our male has stopped coming here except for an occasional appearance - we are now waiting for another male to come here. I am really not convinced or don't want to believe that Scout's new male is the male from OSU - Tangerine I just have to move on and get over it - it's been hard.

rosekk17, I'm sorry that things aren't going well at the OSU nest, and I wish we knew for sure about the new male downtown. Maybe we will never know.

Now that we are on the TKAM theme, what about the name "Boo"? :lol:

Didn't Scout and Boo become good friends, but he was rather elusive in the beginning? I should go re-read that novel.

9:30AM - MM arrives with breakfast

BUT...decides to turn around & mantle it!!!

Scout is currently looking out over her kingdom...maybe waiting for him to come back with a cleaned breakfast?.. No, she just waddled to the top of the nest box. She's looking very full!

Thank you Susan and Bev for your kind words - I don't think we will ever know about the male situation here and downtown - it's even hard to watch Scout and the new male - things sweem to be moving so slowly - I don't remember this being so hard when Scout arrived.

10:12AM -

Scout spent close to 10 minutes picking around the next box. She came out of the nest box and immediately took flight. MM arrived almost seconds later. He's currently in the nest box... Maybe a food transfer after he cleaned up breakfast?

10:14AM - MM just took flight

Maybe it is taking longer than what we think for eggs because if this is the male from the other site, he may have trouble deciding where to be and was cautious that no other male was around. And we waited so long for a male to turn up that it seems even longer

I say an egg for Easter. :eastergirl:
