Hello everyone...I got this email from Donna today:

I was at OSU yesterday and saw both birds around 9-9:30. I checked the forum but no one logged any sightings in from the downtown nest site around that time at all. If you get a chance would you ask if anyone saw the male downtown around that time but didn’t log it? I know probably most log everything they see, but maybe not...

Looking for any help to either confirm or deny it is the same individual. Thanks!
Donna

I know you've all been doing an excellent job with coverage...but if anyone remembers seeing Scout and MM on the ledge during that time, and just didn't post, if ya could let me know, post it here, or email Donna and let her know...

Thanks!!

Dang, wish I had known to be watching the Columbus ledge yesterday morning. I was busy from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. logging the banding at Norfolk Botanical Gardens. I'm sure if we know ahead of time, someone could be on guard and watching.

Arjen has a video of male offering Prey to Scout at 8:40am Columbus time and it was for 5 minutes. Does that count for Donna. Maybe he has more.

Surely he would not head bk to the University right after.

Boy, I wish we could get that nailed down to everyone's satisfaction.

Scout on the ledge, then went in the box for a few minutes, last I saw headed to the right of the ledge out of view.

Male arrives with prey and Scout comes running out from behind there to get it.

Just for the fun of it I took this picture of the Rhodes tower from the ground looking straight up - made me dizzy - lol Scout was actually on the ledge and the bigger picture shows her sitting up there but hard to copy that big of a picture

The nest ledge is third from the left

Scout is in the box. Poor thing, she's roasting in there.

She's had to wait extra time to get started on the eggs.

I think that's MM in the box. I didn't see bands on your photo. He's currently laying down, subathing!

I just noticed his skinny bandless leggs.
I just so had it in my head that she was going to lay an egg.

Well at least I can stop worrying that she is going to lay an egg in the heat of the day. So what is he up? Seems to be trying to be in the sun even though he is panting away.

I think he's trying to entice Scout into the nest box to lay an egg!

P.S. Rosekk - That was quite some shot of the Rhodes Tower from the ground. No wonder it's hard to spot the falcons in Columbus!
