Bird Cams Around the World

chupping jsut now and the they both come into nest box. Bowing and chupping and male leaves.
Female now is over the egg and eating gravel and looking around

She lay down in scrape and now is standing over eggs again
Can hear falocn in background

male came in ,female chupping and left via left and male stayed there and then he left over th plank. can hear someone above
Can hear a bit of chupping now

coming back with a slideshow. I have to go out of cam to do it.

I do not know the cam time. and how it relates to this forum. If I knew I could figure out and post exacttimes

I think this is one of the nests top watch in the next while.
very interesting occurences.

male must have brought in food because I can hear the sound of eating every once in awhile over the noise.

when i see them together ,of course I know. She is bossy also but I noticed this morning she was not chasing the male like yesterday, he left her.

I am taking notes when I am watching and labeling photos and will post everything when I come in later but one is on eggs right now.
Did a lot of digging in scrape and then incubates. always looking out.

this ws male as F came in . Lots of chupping but male standing hi sground this time. he is raises his head to her as if to say , you incubate these.

Male does eventually leave and female Stands there

she was on them and then quickly up

As I said I will do a full write up later but his nest has me fascinated.

I cannot watch for much longer but she has been on eggs full since 2:57MT

She was turning at at one point I thought ,again, she was laying an egg. small little chupps coming from her Too soon probably . But then she kept trying and then finally got eggs under her.

this is an unexperienced female for sure because she really is Leary as what to do.

I am glad the male is not running right away now

Thanks for watching this nest, Bev! I can't get the cam but maybe a couple times a week, & I am interested in whether or not Tasha's eggs are incubated.

I watch it when I can.It does mess up my other cams but most of other nests are covered so i am here .

this female is getting more comfortable and I am not sure if eggs will hatch but they are getting incubated daily and the male turns them . she has not seemed to grasp that yet

We have several new mothers this year: Dori, WC (in Lansing), & Red (Wilmington). It will be interesting to see how much is instinct & how much they have to learn from the mates. Fortunately, the all have experienced dads for mates.

I think a lot is instinct but from any cams I have watched the newbies, have had to learn from their mate. Scout from Orville, the 2 new females at my site, . Of course ,there are always exceptions

hear F eating above and male is having trouble covering eggs, bowl too deep maybe

quiet chupping by male as he tries to cover eggs and tries to push them closer(one looks deeper than the other) the F had been digging in there .
finally on them, possibly to roll them

now M leaves and can hear him chupping
