Kate St John posted news in her blog of yet another falcon pair nesting in the area, just a few miles away....

Thanks, Antilogical--the more peregrines the better (as long as they don't fight each other)!

What a surprise--I was able to get this cam tonight! Dorothy seems to be hunkered down. Can't tell so much from this nest, but at Gulf Towers you can see that the weather is very miserable in Pittsburgh tonight.

I looked at when the next-to-last egg was laid, & it looks like a hatch isn't due til 4/22.

Saw this a little while ago and didn't get a chance to post. Looked like somebody was giving somebody a nudge off the eggs. In the next shot, they had succeeded.

Here's a little video of one of the adults and the chick. I love the way the adults wiggle when they're settling down on the eggs/chicks! :)

Love that shuffle too. Some mothers are "better" at it than others, S2 (De Mortel) does a great shuffle, sometimes I fear for the eggs, getting scrambled . . .

Yeah, I was just watching all that squirming and I saw her shuffle the baby over with her foot. Man, seemed a bit rough to me. But she has done this before.
