Did anybody see the egg next to the chick--not in front, but beside the chick? I noticed it just before the cam changed so couldn't get a pic, then Mom was in front of it when the view came back, but it looked like it is hatching right now! You can't tell from looking at the pics but maybe it got turned around during feeding.

Mom appears to be restless today changing her position frequently, and wiggling down again to INCUBATE/BROOD.

I can hear chirping but have not seen anything underneath her. I do know there is at least 1 so far.

Mom just chirped some and I thought she was telling us something there for a while. Guess not.

She is very HOT with her beak open, panting, and fanning her tail, to cool off the eggs a little.

It's almost 80 degrees a little after 11:00 here. No wind, and sky is a little overcast. Not humid right now. Mom seems very restless. Need to mow grass before it gets any hotter.

looks like the egg in front is moving, the one on the right hand side when looking at the screen.

I think we already have a second one, maybe still with shell on it, and a third coming out. That one shot is so washed out of focus my magnifier doesn't work very well, but Mom seems to be helping, and when she stood up just now I could see lots of white besides that active #1/
