Bev and SGB - Thanks for all your posts and pictures today (I've got such a backlog of chores to get done that I can only check in now and then). Bev - It does look like Red Girl's crop is a little full in your last series of pictures. I'm hoping she caught something this morning, stashed it, and is snacking on it at intervals.

I haven't seen any pips in the eggs yet, but I'll bet the chicks are tapping on their shells and chirping the way Red Girl keeps checking them every so often.

egg check...this area is suspect...but I really had to enlarge, which means its somewhat distorted...so, really no proof it is a pip...but then again, it could be...
