Darn, I missed this hatch, too! Hubby insisted that I needed to go out with him to run errands & the same thing happened last year. :-(

From what I saw this morning, I expect to see a 3rd hatch this afternoon! :egghatch:

Mom just left the eggs long enough to get a good look at both youngsters, and there appear to be pips in the 2 darker colored eggs. The light colored one doesn't show any. Here's some food for those babies!

Looks like Lil Dad is getting his turn at the eggs and babies, unless I've got my markings mixed up. No white around the cere is Lil Dad, right?

Whoa! What's going on with this legband? I thought our legbands are green over black--how come he has a red over black? Has he been re-banded or am I out to lunch?

MOM'S BACK AND LIL DAD DOES NOT WANT TO GET OFF THE EGGS. MOM LET OUT WITH WHAT ALMOST SOUNDED LIKE AN LITTLE ALARM CALL TOWARDS HIM. SO THIS IS AN UPSET SOUND, NOT JUST AN ALARM CALL. COULD MEAN PREDETOR OR "GET OFF MY BABIES"!! :lol:

I enjoyed that exchange. Dad did his best to convince Mom it was his turn, sweet-talking and acting submissive and posessive all at the same time. He's a piece of work, and Mom's lucky to have him.

I never noticed that before--maybe the cam color is that much better this year. I am apparently out to lunch cause I thought that black/green was used for U.S. bandings.

The only difference I can see is that baby's mouth is open in yours & not in mine!
