Finally done mowing. Not a good project for this afternoon. Thankfully the scrape is now shaded, and Mom looks a little more comfy. Slight breeze, but it's blowing hot air. Goldfinches at the feeder here have their little wings all stuck out, too, and a while ago a Crow came to the birdbath for a drink. That is a first for me!

If that isn't a feather stuck to the light-colored egg, it has feathers sticking out of it!

Just watched a feeding. The newborn got a few bites, and then the little thing rolled over on its back and was having trouble righting itself. Mom left with the remains of the meal, and Little Dad came in almost immediately. Can't see the newborn at the moment, so don't know if it got flopped around or not.

#2 decided to eat during this feeding. He was trying so hard to hold his little head up to get a bite that he fell over backwards at the end of the feeding, but he did get a few bites! :clapegg:

MOM SEEMS TO BE CHASING AFTER A PREDATOR AND NOW LIL DAD IS AT THE END OF THE SCRAPE AND LEFT OUT AN ALARM CALL LOOKING ALL AROUND.

Big time alarm call from Little Dad. He hopped off the eggs and stood at the edge of the scrape, looking up. Whatever, he's satisfied, and back in the scrape. Looks the the newborn got itself righted, too.

I haven't had time to sit and watch for very long yet this year, too much to do. So my Harrisburg "ears" aren't tuned in quite yet to all the sounds of the 'burg! ha ha ha
Some of you guys I know have said you've shared the Falcon cams with others. I do too whenever I can. I now have someone else where I work watching Mom and Li'l Dad too and got excited being able to watch her feed her little one! Hopefully I get to see one of the next ones hatch!

Either there's a bit of fluff in the spider web strategically positioned, or there's a pip in the pale egg. Probably fluff since I thought the pale egg was #2 so it should have hatched already.

Yeah, it's fluff. Lil Dad moved his wing over the egg and the spot is still there. Oh, well.

Little Dad just left out another alarm call, but did not leave the scrape. He keeps whipping his head around, as he's watching some insects flying around up there.

Mom is back, and Dad doesn't want to give up his spot with the kids!
