Even though we were all upset ,at the moment that Poly took the chick, No one wants to see her harmed. I think after we all took a step back ,we realized that this was not Polly doing something irrational, it was just nature and I really think she did not know what she had taken.

I hope Wizzz sees her soon.

On the big photo you can see Spirit eating the unhatched egg!
She accidentally broke it while feeding the chicks... it was yellow inside - infertile I guess !

OK...I'm ready to hear word of Polly...I know we were very nervous with her being around...but I do miss her...maybe, she's found her a boyfriend who is giving her tons of attention and she's "moved out"...off to falcon college...

Banding will indeed be this Wednesday and it will start at noon ET. It will be presented live on our livestream channel - we'll leave the nest camera on when we capture the chicks and then we'll have another webcam in the banding room. The tower is full of asbestos so don't be surprised that we're wearing full protection (face mask and all) to capture the chicks !

Have not seen or heard Polly since May 11th.
